The Challenge: The store at the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee, WI, was looking to enhance its customer experience by adding a striking visual element above its cashier counter. They aimed to create an eye-catching “floating” impact piece that would captivate visitors as they walked by the shop after their museum visit. The paint job needed to be the perfect shade of Harley Davidson orange, flawlessly applied to their new store feature.

Innovative Action: We carefully fabricated the Harley Davidson logo to meet the store’s specifications and expertly painted it to match the vibrant HD Orange. Despite painting challenges, our skilled team quickly adapted. To achieve the “floating” effect, we utilized a wire mount not standard to the signage industry but typically used for wire railing.  Securely integrating these specific cable mounts to the logo allowed us to limit the attachment points to two.  Ensuring it was both visually striking and safely installed.

Great Results: The final installation met the client’s expectations, providing a bold visual impact that enhanced the store’s ambiance. The floating “HD” logo now serves as a memorable feature, capturing visitors’ attention and reinforcing the store’s brand presence. The Harley Davidson Museum’s new impact piece exceeded their expectations, creating a more engaging and memorable customer experience.
