Project Overview:

Scathain reached out to Innovative Signs with an opportunity to execute RevPops’ vision for signage and structure at a food truck park being constructed inside American Family Field. With an immovable timeframe to precede opening day, there was no room for missteps or mistakes. Six awnings, six cabinet boxes, three custom lettersets, mounting frames, food menus, and a 16′ wide hanging entrance sign. With the goals set, all that was left was to deliver some of the most enjoyable signs we have built to date.
Lighting Solutions:
Finding modern LED products that kept the warm conventional lighting tones and struck the desired color palette was one of the lesser tasks because of the many brand options and vendor partners we hold. We turned to G2G Lighting for their marquee bulb style and visible filament illumination. The LED “neon” Aurora flex line was also our first choice for the closest color match and quality of product.
Authentic Finishes:
The original designers of this project, RevPop, conveyed the desired feel and assigned color palette of the installations: warm illumination, weathered textures, touches of hand painting, and nostalgic construction practices. In addition to constructing the signs to meet engineering and UL requirements, keeping the hardware and assemblies visible and intentionally leaving the finishes rough preserved an authentic handcrafted feel.
Staggered Implementation:
Innovative Signs meticulosly coordinated the delivery and installation process to accommodate stakeholder timelines, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for everyone involved. Awnings were completed first, closely followed by the cabinets so those pieces could be installed and integrated into Scathain’s trucks and bar on schedule. Next came the lettersets and frames delivered directly to site. The installation of the main entrance sign marked the successful completion of the project, from initial fabrication to final execution.
Our team successfully executed the branding project, overcoming logistical challenges and ensuring that all signage updates were completed on schedule. The projects met our client expectations and is being enjoyed by those using the space. This series of projects exemplifies our ability to handle a variety of complex signage challenges without sacrificing quality.
