There are three common types of stand-offs used in sign installation; plated finishes, economy, and tamper proof. The plated finishes option is made of stainless steel or brass. With pre-drilling, stand-offs can be mounted to wood, drywall and concrete.
If the idea of drilling holes in your sign is not appealing there are some no-hole options available. Edge grips give a 3 dimensional effect without holes. The hardware keeps the sign in place with pressure while the hardware supports the bottom and top. There are also perpendicular rails that support panels at angles. This option works great for hallway or corridor usage.
